Note: The passport may only be collected by its owner to verify identity in accordance with Egyptian regulations. If you choose the VIP Passport service, we can collect it on your behalf via a special Power of Attorney.
Required Documents to Issue a Passport.
- Original previous passport, if available (for renewals).
- Four recent 4×6 cm photos, white background, no glasses.
- Original, valid national ID card (latest issue).
- For males: proof of military service status (military service certificate or conscription card).
- For minors: computerized birth certificate plus the guardian’s national ID (father or mother). The applicant must be inside the country when applying.
- Original educational qualification. If unavailable, a financial guarantee of EGP 450 is required.
- Business owners / self-employed: a recent extract from the Commercial Register.
- The educational qualification or financial guarantee is not required if the applicant: – holds a recognized professional syndicate occupation, – has five prior international trips (or more), – is retired, or – is a government employee.
